Great Lakes Choices

Industrial sites, protected open space, tourist spots, high-end homes, water source--what kind of future do you envision for the Great Lakes? Increasingly recognized as an amazing natural resource, the Great Lakes are gaining more attention and how the shores and waters will be used is a subject for debate locally, regionally and nationally.

An article in today's USA Today careens from one issue to the next, but if it comes across as confused or confusing in part, well, I think that's a reflection of how many issues are colliding as policymakers, citizens and businesses try to figure out what we should do with our Great Lakes. Certainly we want any future to be a green one, but what does that mean to you?
